PREPARATION
If you can, please read Improvising Real Life: Personal Story in Playback Theatre, by Jo Salas, to prepare for the workshops. You can order book from Tusitala Publishing or Amazon.
For other readings about Playback Theatre, feel free to visit this website, which has a library of hundreds of downloadable readings http://www.playbacktheatre.org/resources/
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move easily in and bring layers in case we decide to use the air-conditioning. New Paltz is usually in the 80’s- even 90’s- Fahrenheit in July (and usually humid), but these days with the weather, you never know! The work space has air-conditioning if needed.

Students are responsible for their own food and lodging. There are many restaurants and delis located very close to the venue. Lodging options are listed below. There will be a place to make tea and coffee on the workshop site and a fridge if you need to store lunch, as well as a stove and microwave for heating up food.
